The C5 Villar issue: Villar’s Refusal to Debate Jamby Madrigal

Media personalities are on the attack again simple because Manny Villar walked out of after his privilege speech and refusing to debate with Senator Jamby Madrigal. Writers allied with the Liberal Party are quick to use the Tagalog phrase “mukhang guilty” referring to the standard bearer of the Nationalista Party – see C5 villar.
Who takes Jamby Madrigal seriously? I don’t. Despite the fact that she came from illustrious families, she was disinherited by no less than her rich aunt who supported her for many years. Her reasons are unclear as to why she removed the name of her once favorite niece from her will. Was Jamby an ingrate? Did she do something so evil that her aunt removed her? We really don’t but what we know is what happened next. She used her celebrity-politician status to broadcast tirades against her aunts and cousins. Not only that, she made fun of them through the subsequent interviews she launched to discredit her relatives.

Worse, Jamby Madrigal tried to paint Villar as a dangerous man, but she nonetheless had a meeting with the communist leader in exile Joma Sison. She did it without any backing from the current administration. In other words, she corresponded with an enemy of the state who still has several outstanding warrants of arrests. C5 villar controversy

Before she launched her tirades regarding the C5 Villar controversy, she should have reflected first. She should have apologized to her relatives, and how she used her celebrity-politician status to discredit her relatives. What she did is a clear abuse of power – see C5 villar.
